Lastly, Joel produced the "unused" version of the song titled, "Fn Pig". The intro is remarkably similar to "Get in the Cart, Pig", However, it starts much more quietly and rather than the drop sounding more like "Fn Pig", it takes the drop from the song "October". This song only has the intro and a very similar drop from the final version of "Fn Pig", and it only lasts 4 minutes.Įventually, he decided to mix another track to "Get in the Cart, Pig" titled "October", and named it, "Get in the October Cart, Pig". While doing so, he was struggling, and said the phrase, "Get in the Cart, F***ing Pig!" This phrase inspired him to make a song titled "Get in the Cart, Pig", one of the earliest versions of "Fn Pig" that he created. Joel's Track "Fn Pig" seems to have many different and complicated variations before its final version was chosen as the fourth track of the album.įirstly, on his official YouTube channel, Joel posted a video of him struggling to place a pig in a cart on the game Minecraft. So impressed, that he decided to add the vocals to the song and make it the final version of The Veldt.Įventually, even though he chose the vocal version of "The Veldt", he decided to release the instrumental version of the track to the public. However, he got a message from a man named Chris James on Twitter, saying that he sang vocals for the track "The Veldt" in March of 2012.Īfter listening to the vocal version of the track, sung by Chris James, Joel was extremely impressed. Originally, Joel was planning to release the track, "The Veldt", with only instrumentals on the album. It seems that the track would have used a higher pitched, plucking synth to the track around (1:24) and (34:22).Īlso, the intro would have started with an average beat followed with the hook at (10:46), rather than the final version, where it starts off with an increased echo.įor unknown reasons, Joel chose to remove the plucked synths and start the song's intro with an increased echo, which would be the final version "Superliminal". Moving chess pieces onto tiles one at a time, make your way across the board and remember to bring the pieces with you so you don’t run the risk of falling through the board. In April of 2012, Joel did a live stream on him, creating the first track of the album titled Superliminal. Be careful here - if you try to walk on a tile without a chess piece on it, you will fall through it into the unknown. This will then allow you to walk on that tile. Once on the chessboard, you must place a chess piece on one of the tiles. Head through the next room till you reach a surrealist looking, almost heavenly-white environment. ![]() Once you find yourself in a room of colourful pillars, walk straight through the white wall where you will then find another door to go through. The black stairs in this strange world are real this time, so walk up them and follow the black path. Once you are in the next area, find the stairs and walk through them to reach an inverted realm. You will soon find a large switch that needs to be turned off. Next, walk away and towards the island you will see - it has an orange tower. Jump onto the window and continue through the doorway. Place the window next to the door so that it is finally within your reach. The window you just familiarised yourself with is actually a block. Then, go towards the window which will take you to another corridor similar to the one you have just been in. Enter it and roam the corridor until you find yourself in a white room. As you continue, you will soon find an ‘exit’ sign that points toward another door. Believe it or not, this shadow is a doorway - enter it. Seek out a cabinet that is not near a wall, but instead casting a shadow on the wall. ![]() ![]() Once in the white corridor beyond the door, continue straight. Once nearby, brave the rain until you reach the next doorway. Carry on through the room until you find another doorway in a faraway fog. The doorway will lead you to the Reception room. This will reveal yet another doorway you can go through. At this point, you can pick up a sizable black board and move it out of the way. After this, head into the black abyss in the floor, then the white abyss, then another black abyss again. Continue to walk through the doorway until you reach another door that has a white frame. If you wait a small while, a tower will appear that you can then approach and enter.
