The card generator at the bottom seems to have no real random structure. Now after countless hours playing i have realized that the matching system pretty much has decided who will win from the start. Then more troops i had not been privileged to pick up in the earlier castles. I started seeing troops i had not yet even begun to deal with. Simple game to learn, fun, and i was not doing horrible. Safe yourself the heartache and rage and find a better game. Well, somehow I was still short 20-50 gems? Which means I lost practically all of them and didn’t get that chest with the big reward to refill my gems and get brand new cards. Every 100 gems I spent was supposed to give me 200 extra gems towards the reward, so I spent 200 gems meaning I should’ve had another 400 tacked on to that, (these aren’t exact numbers but I did the math before doing the deal). One last thing before I delete the game, I had one of the offers with the gems that if I spent like 600ish gems, I’d get a reward that replenishes the gems and gives me cards. Also, I’m almost certain that a couple of times, my opponent plays more than 6 cards each being 7 or more energy which considering the time it takes to load, would be impossible even with the card that lowers the mana cost by two. It’s like the game gives you a good hand, starts you off with your low energy cards and gradually moves you into your heavy hitters, and then the next rounds have all your high energy cards at the beginning that you can’t play until the mana builds. I feel like your level doesn’t matter at all in the game, I had level 5’s beating me at a level 8 but at the same time, if I go against level 11’s I get murdered as well. That is until you have the biggest lose streak. This was a game a downloaded to help me advance in a different app but then I got stuck playing this because it’s fun. Becomes frustrating, fun disappears and the relevancy goes out. Nearly a year with no money spent, looking at opponents decks, less games played but still dragon, dragon, dragon. Maybe if you have been consistently playing since the launch. Can not fault them for that, this is a business. So good that some real $ here or a few more real $ there are going to get spent. The developers have done a really good job at creating an environment where you want to win and beat that other player. There are daily gold limits, and wining does not reward much gold to begin with. Possibly obtainable if you play consistently for a year or more. So the best cards are for those who spend real money. Would save gold, but it takes a really, really long time to reach 40,000 gold. One, two or three, 40,000 gold cards I don’t have. But I played this for a while and would look at the decks I lost to. Win some, loose some, thinking “yeah I am improving”. After a while, around level nine, you just get stuck. There is always someone who bought their way to the same level, but that is ok. You can very slowly acquire more cards and strength. Have an older book you’d like to promote? You can find out about all the ongoing promotional opportunities here. This game is fun and complex.
